Introduction

Deep within the dark heart of Airdmhor Asylum beat the electronic heart of the Realms of Insanity. Nurtured for 7 years on a diet of crazed intellectualism, rabid religious fanaticism, dry skepticism, petty squabbles, longwinded nonsense and witty reparte; it grew to reflect the many tententacled wonder of it's patron God, Shub-Sethop.

But over time the inhabitants of the Realm slowly departed, attracted by the bright lights of the Infobahn. And lo, many times did Sethop (mortal incarnation of the great one) say "We really ought to get Realmy on the net", and many of the wise souls who remained did agree... but nothing happened.

Then came terrible news, and perhaps a blessing in disguise. Airdmhor Asylum was sold*, and a great urgency was born. Sethop, overloaded with mundane matters, spoke of dire need and did little. The task fell to Lyric, slightly less overloaded with mundane matters, who found a new on-line home for Realmy at wibble.net, our current most blessed(?) location.

Realms of Insanity is ready to accept new inmates. Step this way, friends...
